caleb chung / co-founder + inventor
Caleb's accomplishments and experience span the entertainment, mixed media and toy industries. He has written, produced, and acted in critically acclaimed stage shows, has designed special effects for film/TV, and invented numerous successful toys.

Caleb began his toy invention career with Mattel in 1985, designing toys for its New Business Concepts R&D Division, targeting the Infant & Preschool, Boys Toys, Barbie, Activities and Games markets. Caleb's prolific conceptual and design skills created widely acclaimed toys, eventually landing him a feature appearance on the David Letterman Show.

In 1990 Caleb began to independently consult for Fisher Price, Mattel, Bandai, Hasbro, Disney, Microsoft Corporation and Tiger Electronics. He co-invented the 1998 hot toy of the year, Furby, which sold over 50 million units worldwide, generating over $1.2 billion in sales. As an inventor with over 20 patents, Caleb is regarded as one of the premier product designers in the toy industry.

Caleb has lectured at several institutions and conferences, including The Tech, Siggraph, Xerox Park and MIT.

A seasoned entrepreneur, Bob Christopher found and led a number of successful start-up companies in the technology and consumer markets. Mr. Christopher helped launch the Voice-over-IP industry through the creation of ISPtel, an international clearinghouse connecting over 35 of the world's largest phone companies.

Understanding market challenges and visionary opportunities, he has helped companies in their formative stages to develop market strategies, partnerships, operations and launch consumer and enterprise products. Mr. Christopher's leadership skills have attracted talented management teams, industry alliances, strategic advisors and partnerships that are needed to execute on emerging business models. Both an excellent communicator and team builder Bob is able to lead diverse teams and inspire great performance that drives bottom line results.

ted cohn / coo
Mr. Cohn is an experienced software developer, architect, executive and entrepreneur. His 18-year career spans several well-known Silicon Valley firms and start-ups, including Apple Computer, Radius, NeXT, RasterOps, Catapult, Excite, Ten Square, and Bridgespan.

Mr. Cohn worked for Apple and NeXT during their formative years, where he led developments for a number of innovations in multi-media and OS platforms. Ted co-developed the Webcrawler search engine and the NeXT OS, now the basis of Apple's Mac OS X.

Lin Chan has 20-plus years of corporate finance experience spanning early-stage start-ups and Global 1000 companies. Her experience includes public and private financings, cross-border transactions, overseas outsourcing and manufacturing, mergers and acquisitions, SEC issues and reporting, and international markets. She served as Interim CFO with Pacific Investors, Nanospire Inc., GeoCOM International, Digital Reflections, Inc., Optiva, Inc. and Emergency Filtration Products, Inc. Ms. Chan also served as the CFO for MeetWorldTrade, Inc. (dba MeetChina.com), a privately held Internet B2B start-up company with 700 employees and operations in eight countries.

Previously, Ms. Chan served as Corporate Controller for PC-Tel, Inc. where she established the infrastructure that enabled it to become the fastest growing company in Silicon Valley, while managing the company's IPO and secondary offering, raising a total of $200 million, and creating a market capitalization exceeding $2.0 billion at its height. Her career also includes stints as Controller for SOLA International, a $500 million global healthcare product manufacturer, where she was involved in SOLA's listing on the NYSE, as well as Controller for Pilkington plc, a $4.0 billion UK multinational company.

Derek has led large and collaborative engineering teams developing toy and technology product innovations. His early work with Caleb Chung began on Miracles Moves Baby, where they created breakthrough interactive animatronics that continues to garner extensive press coverage.

Other Derek Dotson innovations include medical products(Chad Therapeutic oxygen conserver's and blood centrifuges), gaming products (Caribbean Stud Poker, slot monitoring equipment and scrolling message signs), entertainment products (Interactive view kiosks in the Sears Tower and museums, Baton controls for KGO-TV San Francisco and Caesars Plaice in Atlantic City), toy products (animatronic toys for Mattel, Jakks Pacific and Leap Frog), and consumer electronics (PDA for Vercel and monitoring equipment for helicopters fuel consumption). Leveraging a long history of collaborative teamwork with Caleb Chung, Derek Dotson is adept at assembling and leading teams that execute Mr. Chung's innovative visions.

Lynda Lucero has more than 20 years experience launching corporate and consumer brands. Her most recent tenure was Vice President of Corporate Marketing for Excite@Home, where she was responsible for advertising, public relations, investor relations, branding and event marketing. She came to Excite@Home from @Home Network, where she initiated the PR, investor relations, event marketing and brand identity for the company as the Director of Corporate Marketing.

Prior to joining @Home, Lucero managed the marketing communications group for Apple's online service division. While at Apple, she was responsible for the consumer launch of eWorld, Apple's online service. Lucero also worked in the consumer products marketing division of Ketchum Communications in San Francisco.

Greg Appelhof is currently President and founder of Technology Resource Group, a sales and marketing consultancy serving emerging consumer electronics brands. Previously, he was the CEO of Netdirect, an Internet retailer of computer and consumer products. At Netdirect, Mr. Appelhof led the company to achieve $150 million revenues.

Prior to Netdirect, Mr. Appelhof spent ten years with Herold Marketing Associates, the owner of Graphics Technology Inc. an $80 million regional distributor, and successfully represented Apple, Compaq and Sony products to Best Buy, Target and other top-tier distribution channels.
